This happened a few years back. I am petrified of crossing roads.
It so happened that I was waiting to
cross a very busy road.
Seeing the surging traffic, I was absolutely
panic-stricken and wondered how to cross.
Pity was there was no signal. Looking around, I saw a small girl with her cycle waiting to cross.
Taking the chance, I went caught the girls hand and the girl very dexterously crossed the road with me tagging behind.
Once reaching the other side safely, the little girl thanked me
profusely for helping her cross without realizing that she was the one
who helped me cross.
